The number one thing to know about me is that I am a child of God. A daughter of the most high. The second thing to know is I am just an imperfect human that still falls short of the glory of God daily, but by the Grace of God I am saved! I am a real person, living a real life, fighting real battles in the flesh, but striving to live my life for God. I felt God’s calling on my heart to write and share the devotions He was giving to me, but I ran from his calling for years. January 1st, 2024 I sat at my kitchen table with my bible open and did my best to surrender to His will and answer the calling. I prayed for guidance and confirmation, and even though God delivered on that prayer I continued to attempt to allow fear and intimidation to keep me from truly surrendering. Through faithful friend’s encouragement I took a step out in faith and now here we are. My favorite place to be is outside. I will tell anyone, I never feel closer to God than I do early mornings sitting on the porch with my coffee and bible. I love to, as I say, watch God wake up the world. I pray you enjoy these devotions as much as I have enjoyed studying them and writing them, typically over coffee early on the porch.

I have never been more excited to grab my coffee and my bible and head to the porch to study as I have been since surrendering this calling to God.
